Exploring transimperial entanglements in and beyond the early modern Atlantic world is an endeavour which demands a collaborative effort, not least because the historical sources – which are scattered on four continents and written in an array of different languages – demand quite diverse scholarly skills. In order to catalyse dialogue and cooperation, the Atlantic Italies Network brings together historians working on connections linking the Italians states to the Americas and sub-Saharan Africa . It is coordinated by Silvia Marzagalli and Roberto Zaugg.
