In November 2017 I visted universities, archives and museums in southern Nigeria. Thanks to the funding of the Swiss National Science Foundation and the hospitality of the Institut français de recherche en Afrique, directed by Dr. Élodie Apard, I had the opportunity to teach, to do research and to establish contacts for future cooperations. “Atlantic Italies”: double-panel at the ENIUGH Conference
The Fifth ENIUGH Congress took place in Budapest, hosted by both the Central European University and Corvinus University, from 31 August to 3 September 2017. The double-panel “Atlantic Italies: Economic, Cultural and Political Entanglements (Late 15th – Early 19th Centuries)” gave birth to what has since then consolidated as the Atlantic Italies Network.
